  • Blood Tests
Blood tests are an essential tool in veterinary care for diagnosing ailments, assessing the effectiveness of treatments, and conducting routine health checks. At River Vets, we perform most of our blood tests on-site, ensuring same-day results and enabling us to detect and address problems as quickly as possible. In case of more complex tests, we may send samples to a specialized laboratory with turnaround times typically not exceeding 24 hours. With our state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology, we provide comprehensive and accurate blood testing for the benefit of your beloved pets.

After your pet is discharged, we provide comprehensive aftercare packages to assist in their speedy recovery and return to good health.

In such cases, X-rays and ultrasound examinations can be extremely helpful in providing a diagnosis. Our proficient team has a wealth of experience in interpreting these imaging tests, and if needed, we can seek input from certified specialists for additional insight. Our practice has a modern and well-equipped imaging suite, which is considered one of the most valuable areas of our facilities.

The nurse may recommend a consultation with the vet based on their findings.
  • Dentistry
Dental disease is a prevalent issue that affects many pets including cats, dogs, and rabbits. It is more commonly found in middle-aged to older animals, and we recommend regular dental checkups to detect and prevent it. To reduce the risk of needing dental treatment when your pet is older, we suggest implementing preventative dental care from an early age. Our experienced nurses can advise you on how to keep your pet's teeth healthy and clean. If a dental cleaning or even extractions are necessary, we have a well-equipped dental suite and years of experience to restore your pet's bright smile.
